My first post on the English 10 blog. Aren't you excited?
Today in class, we worked through how to tell what a run-on sentence/comma splice is, and how to fix these errors in our writing. There was a handout explaining the different methods to correct run-on sentences, and we completed a practice exercise in class. Then, we finished off our personal responses for chunk one of our Literature Circles book, and spent the remainder of class reading/making a Page of Thinking for chunk two.
We are meeting with Literature Circles on Thursday. Be ready to share your thoughts on chunk two!
